World Book Day at SSPP was a spectacular event! The reading council have gone above and beyond to plan competitions and activities for the whole school. Each class got involved in our door decorating competition. You can see the photos below.

The winning classes will be announced in assembly on Friday! A huge well done to everyone!

Our second competition involved making a movie trailer to act out the blurb from a book. Pupils worked hard to develop their speaking and listening skills and the entries were very impressive.

What a fun day to celebrate the power of reading and promote our love of books. Remember, the GoReadathon competition is ongoing so continue to read and log your child’s efforts.
