SS Peter and Paul were invited to represent Wolves Foundation for the opportunity of a lifetime today – visiting St George’s Park to wave off the England Team as they head off to Germany to compete in the European Championships.

The day was to include a football festival against other football club foundations charities, and then a chance to wave off the England Football Team as they left.

The children played brilliantly in their games, only losing once to the eventual winners of the festival with some wonderful performances from all the children, all modelling the values we expect.

At the end of the fixtures, the children were incredibly lucky to to get to meet HRH Prince of Wales, England Captain Harry Kane, Aston Villa striker – Ollie Watkins and also one of the famous Lioness’ Jill Scott. They were taken by the effort the children had gone to with their ‘Good Luck’ sign, and were also interested to hear about the kit that the school had made out of water bottles in partnership with Wolves and Reconomy. HRH Prince William also spoke to the children about the sports that they participate in at school.

Children then made their way to wave off the England Team, meeting players such as Jude Bellingham, Bakayo Saka, Joe Gomez and Kieran Trippier to name a few. Truly a  magical experience the children will never forget.

We would like to congratulate the children on their conduct, attitude and manners, which was regularly commented on by our Wolves Foundation staff, who had accompanied us.
