Yesterday, we welcomed the Wolverhampton Olympic Torch as part of its relay around all Wolverhampton schools!
Well done to our year 6 children who performed a dance that was choreographed by our own pupils!
Yesterday, some of our Year 3 and 4 children attended Wolverhampton Lawn Tennis and Squash Club to participate in several tennis drills! The children had a wonderful time and some hidden talents came to the fore! Well done children!
Yesterday, we had our Annual Sports Day for all classes! All children competed to earn points for their houses and we look forward to seeing which house will be winning the cup in the coming weeks once all the scores are added up. We were also joined by a special guest – WOLFIE!

Our youngest had a wonderful trip to the Library. They listened to stories, sang nursery rhymes and shared books with their family member or teachers. Everyone joined the library and some children borrowed a book!
SS Peter and Paul were invited to represent Wolves Foundation for the opportunity of a lifetime today – visiting St George’s Park to wave off the England Team as they head off to Germany to compete in the European Championships.
The day was to include a football festival against other football club foundations charities, and then a chance to wave off the England Football Team as they left.
The children played brilliantly in their games, only losing once to the eventual winners of the festival with some wonderful performances from all the children, all modelling the values we expect.
At the end of the fixtures, the children were incredibly lucky to to get to meet HRH Prince of Wales, England Captain Harry Kane, Aston Villa striker – Ollie Watkins and also one of the famous Lioness’ Jill Scott. They were taken by the effort the children had gone to with their ‘Good Luck’ sign, and were also interested to hear about the kit that the school had made out of water bottles in partnership with Wolves and Reconomy. HRH Prince William also spoke to the children about the sports that they participate in at school.
Children then made their way to wave off the England Team, meeting players such as Jude Bellingham, Bakayo Saka, Joe Gomez and Kieran Trippier to name a few. Truly a magical experience the children will never forget.
We would like to congratulate the children on their conduct, attitude and manners, which was regularly commented on by our Wolves Foundation staff, who had accompanied us.
We would like to thanks Wolves Foundation for choosing us to represent them today – it was an honour.
We were very proud to welcome families to witness their children graduate from children’s university this week.
This was a huge celebration and acknowledgement of all the extra curricular learning that our Year 5 and 6 children have been doing this year! Well done all!

Today marked the start of Year 6 participating in a LearnPlay Project to give then unique experiences with new technology and ideas to aspire for careers within computing and design.
In their first session, the children experienced using 3D pens and also used VR (Virtual Reality) headsets to participate in games!
