Yesterday, Year 6 joined lots of other primary schools at ‘Wolverhampton University at the Halls’ for the ‘Singing in the Halls’ event hosted by Wolverhampton Music School. The children joined in and sang lots of songs including, Wonderwall, Higher Love and Beautiful!
Nursery children enjoyed visiting the library this week. They listened to stories about recycling and caring for the planet, sang nursery rhymes, made a sunflower, joined the library and borrowed a book.
All our classes in school will be visiting the local library in the upcoming weeks!
Today our pupils watched the live assembly about the Conclave. Children enjoyed listening to the facts and participating in a live liturgy from the Vatican city.
Children wrote prayers to Jesus asking to support the Cardinals to choose the next Pope by listening to his guidance.
Today, Tim from Albrighton Tennis Club came to do a free taster session for all of our children in Reception to Year 5.
The children did a variety of different activities which helped improve their racket and ball skills! They have all been invited to free tennis sessions in June!
An unforgettable day for some of our students! They had the incredible opportunity to visit Cressida Cowell, the brilliant author behind How to Train Your Dragon. Her stories came to life as she shared her journey, inspired our young readers, and ven signed a special copy of her book just for us!
